MI firms deliver ‘great value’ to Stibo Systems

Stibo Systems A/S, a global leader in Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, turned to MI‘s Codex Advokater for international due diligence advice ahead of its plans for a series of major Danish transactions. Codex Advokater commercial partners Jannik Haahr Antonsen and Mikael Grosen Skovbo co-ordinated responses from 12 countries including Denmark , Australia, Japan and Chile and provided a summary legal document outlining all challenges. Working to a strict three-month timetable, the assignment included the development of a detailed questionnaire and ensured Stibo Systems minimised the impact of any acquisitions on branches in other countries.

Jeppe Meulengracht Fogh, Stibo Systems, chief legal officer for Stibo Systems said; “During the process of preparing legal opinions in 12 different countries worldwide, we have benefited a lot from our cooperation with Codex Advokater in Denmark and Codex‘s international network of cooperation partners in Mackrell International. Both in terms of time and economy it was of great value to us to have only one local lawyer as our contact person who was in charge of the overall management. This made it possible to have the assignment completed quickly and at the right price”

Clive Miéville, MI managing director said; “Great value and having a single point of contact for global work are a priority for in-house lawyers and this deal proves that MI can deliver both even with a pressing timetable. MI‘s promise of global knowledge with local contacts is evident here.”
