In December, after months and months of wanting and waiting, a small but vibrant slice of the Mackrell International family were actually able to come together, meet in person and have drinks and dinner!
Member firm SMGQ Law (in their shiny, new offices, no less!) was the proud host of the Mackrell International Americas Networking Reception in Miami on December 6, 2021. Members from across the USA and Latin America, including Argentina, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Peru, converged on Miami to reconnect and rekindle those all-important friendships.
Following a tour of SMGQ Law’s new office (at 1200 Brickell Avenue – you’re always welcome, by the way!), MI members enjoyed an exclusive, catered drinks reception - a perfect opportunity for old and new MI friends to connect and continue building relationships, while enjoying cocktails and tropical inspired hors d’oeuvres!
Before heading on a short walk through the downtown Brickell area for dinner at Capital Grille, attendees were treated to welcome bags with the best ground Cuban coffee and Padron cigars, to make sure they all took home a little bit of Miami with them! (Thank you to the team at SMGQ Law for your warmth, generosity and hospitality!)
What a treat and what a wonderful precursor to our planned MI meetings in 2022 – we’ll be sending out an update about these in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out.
