Momentum, Meaning and Minneapolis!

There are moments when you realise you’re part of something that matters.
From the first clink of glasses on the Arthur Chapman rooftop to the last wave goodbye at our final happy hour, our Emerging Leaders gathering in Minneapolis simply buzzed with connection, curiosity and a shared sense of what’s possible when you bring the next generation together.
We came for the networking, sure. And the views weren’t bad either. But it was more than that, it was the candour in the workshop with Sally Schmidt and Keith Heddle on the tricky subject of asking for business (and actually keeping it). It was the lively debate about generational shifts in law firm culture, covering essential stuff like what’s working, what’s not, and how we build something better. It was the mix of honesty, ambition and laughter… oh, and pastries.
Huge thanks to the Arthur Chapman team for hosting us so warmly and so generously. We’re well aware these things don’t organise themselves, and we’re grateful for the time, thought and energy that went into the detail.
If you were there, you’ll know what we mean when we say it felt like the start of something. If you weren’t, do make sure you are next time because this is where friendships start, ideas grow and future leaders find their voice.
To all our brilliant young lawyers across the Americas - this is your space. It’s open, it’s evolving, and it’s absolutely yours to shape.
