In order to obtain a residence permit by investment, the following requirements must be met:

Residential Property in Switzerland (lease or possess)
Specific requirements:
Minimum investment of CHF 1’000’000 (form a new company or investing in a existing Swiss company)
The investment must create jobs or add value to the Swiss economy
Citizenship
In order to obtain citizenship, a residence period of 10 years is required in addition to other requirements.
