Minimum Investment Amount: Applicants must invest at least CZK 75 million (approximately €3 million) in a Czech company.
Job Creation: The investment must result in the creation of at least 20 full-time job positions for Czech citizens or residents.
Ownership Stake: The applicant must hold at least a 30 % ownership share in the Czech company benefiting from the investment.
Financial Proof: Demonstration of sufficient funds to meet the investment threshold is required, along with evidence of the legitimate origin of these funds.
Residency Obligation: The investor must actively participate in the company’s activities and reside in the Czech Republic for a significant portion of the visa duration.
Health Insurance: Valid comprehensive health insurance covering the entire period of residence.
Clean Criminal Record: A criminal background check confirming the absence of a criminal history.
Supporting Documentation: Applicants must submit a business plan, proof of financial solvency, company registration documents, and other supporting materials.
Duration: For a maximum of 2 years.
The application is reviewed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which assesses the investment’s economic impact and compliance with requirements.
