Ernestilla and Dorcas will highlight Tanzania’s evolving mining sector. The session will unpack the key laws, regulatory institutions, and licensing regimes governing mining activities in Tanzania, while exploring the practical considerations for investors, operators, and stakeholders navigating the sector. From prospecting and mining licences to local content, environmental compliance, and recent legal developments, they'll provide a practical overview of the opportunities and regulatory expectations shaping Tanzania’s mining industry today, followed by a Q&A session.
We’ve scheduled two calls to make sure that as many people as possible around the globe get a chance to join the call which best suits their time-zone. The 8am BST call will be suitable for all time zones eastwards between UK and Australia, whilst the 10pm BST is suitable for east to west coast US and South America (and night owls in Europe who can’t make the 8am call)
As usual there will be a short open forum at the end for anyone to bring up topics or issues they would like to discuss in the group for future meetings.
