MI Emerging Leaders Americas Meeting

Mackrell International is pleased to announce our next Emerging Leaders Meeting which is taking place in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Hosted by Arthur Chapman Kettering Smetak & Pikala, our member for Minnesota, the meeting takes place on the 5^th and 6^th June at their offices; so.. SAVE THAT DATE or, better still, REGISTER NOW.

Aimed at our growing contingent of rising stars it offers the opportunity to expand your network with other up-and-coming lawyers from MI member firms both within and outside your region. It will help you build on your experience, develop your career, exchange views and ideas and find opportunities for future business.

REMEMBER: the full programme is free for MI Next Gen/Emerging Leaders; participants will only incur the cost of travel and hotel accommodation.

The meeting will start Thursday 5^th June with a late afternoon welcome ‘meet and greet’ at their offices followed by evening dinner.

Friday 6^th June will be a full day of discussion, debate, including speaker, Sally Schmidt, leading a session for us. Sally Schmidt helps law firms and lawyers improve their relationships with existing clients and build their books of business.

She has consulted with 450+ law firms and more than 1,000 individual lawyers on their marketing, client service and business development efforts. She has spoken at more than 250 national and international seminars and conferences for the legal profession.

Her 250+ articles have appeared in virtually every major legal trade publication and she has a monthly post in Attorney at Work. Sally is the author of two books on law firm marketing: Marketing the Law Firm: Business Development Techniques (Law Journal Press) and Business Development for Lawyers: Strategies for Getting and Keeping Clients (ALM Publishing).
