Global Privacy and Data Security PG Call – Children’s privacy

Please register below and join chairs of the Global Privacy and Data Security PG Tracy Marshall (MI Member Keller and Heckman, Washington DC) and  Guillem València  GDPR PG (MI member firm Santiago Mediano, Madrid) for a joint call on Tuesday 14^th April 2026 at 4pm UK BST. 

Children’s privacy is rapidly emerging as one of the most closely scrutinised areas of data protection law on both sides of the Atlantic.

From a U.S. perspective, the session will provide the opportunity for US members to join the call and discuss children’s privacy updates, including evolving enforcement priorities, legislative activity and practical compliance challenges for organisations handling children’s data in their jurisdictions.

From a European perspective, the members will have the opportunity to discuss and focus on the forthcoming Digital Fairness Act, which is currently being finalised and introduces important measures aimed, in part, at strengthening protections for children in digital environments, alongside existing GDPR obligations.

No matter whether you’re just starting out in your career, or a seasoned partner in your firm, all are welcome to the call  offering a concise yet comprehensive look at what’s changing — and what’s next — in global data protection and data security and privacy.

And, as usual, we would also like to have a short open forum at the end for anyone to bring up topics, make new introductions, or mention issues they would like to discuss, and to suggest topics for future meetings.
