Get to Know Your "Co-Existence" (Part I)
MI AI Book Discussion led by Harold Godsoe
Two years ago, this group read "Co-Intelligence" and learned to work alongside a chatbot. The chatbot has become an agent, and at parts of your job it may now be better than you. Time for an update.
Join us on 3rd November at 2.30 pm UK BST for Part I of a two-session discussion of Ethan Mollick's "Co-Existence: The Next Phase of AI" (published 20th October; 22nd October in the UK), his guide to working with AI that is sometimes, but not always, better than you.
Across the two sessions we'll extract the best advice for lawyers from the book's central questions: how to work alongside something that may sometimes be smarter than you, how to tell genuine capability from hype, when to refuse AI's help, and when to hand over the keys. Part I covers the first half of the book.
Each chapter will be summarized and led by a member of the PG Group. Assignments will be circulated once the book is out; to claim a presentation slot, contact Harold now. The book publishes two weeks before the call, so pre-ordering is the prudent move.
