Iran Oil Sanctions Relief: What's Left After a 60-Day License Became Sixteen 

OFAC's General License authorising Iranian-origin oil and petrochemical transactions was revoked after just sixteen days, replaced by a ten-day wind-down license that has itself since expired. What was billed as a narrow but real 60-day opportunity for energy and maritime operators is now, in practice, a live compliance question about unwound exposure — and a fast-moving minefield for their advisors.
