On the 18th of June, Sabra Tomb, Director of Training Programs & Strategic Business Development at the University of Dayton School of Law in Ohio, USA, will deliver a session for MI firms entitled, “Beyond Billables: Rethinking Talent, Culture, and Growth in Modern Law Firms.” 

The session will lay out a practical roadmap for recruiting, developing and retaining the next generation of legal talent while leveraging AI for real strategic change.   Sabra will explore how law firms can adapt to new generations of legal professionals while building healthier, more sustainable cultures.

At the University of Dayton School of Law, Sabra leads professional training initiatives, strategic partnership development, and oversees the Government Contracting & Procurement Master in the Study of Law (MSL) Program. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law, teaching courses in professional responsibility and negotiation.

Prior to higher education, Sabra served as an attorney-advisor with the Air Force Research Laboratory, supporting a multi-billion-dollar science and technology enterprise.

Her work today spans legal practice and higher education, with a focus on the future of legal education, leadership, workplace culture, and the evolving role of AI in the legal profession. In addition to her leadership role at the law school, she continues to practice law and teaches students across traditional higher education and prison education programs.

A speaker on innovation, leadership, and organizational change, Sabra is known for helping professionals rethink traditional models of productivity, talent development, and institutional growth.
