Aviation and Aerospace Law PG Call - The Proposed EU Space Act Followed by a Q&A Session

Please join our Aviation and Aerospace Law PG Call on 28 November 2025 at 3 pm UK GMT with Chair Şafak Herdem (HERDEM Attorneys at Law, Istanbul, Turkey https://herdemlaw.com/en-us/get-to-know/ ) joining Luca Galizia (Keller & Heckman, https://www.khlaw.com/people/luca-galizia).

Luca is closely monitoring the proposed regulation presented by the European Commission on 25 June, which for the first time provides a comprehensive regulatory framework for non-military space activities in the European Union (but will affect also third-country space operators providing services and data in the EU) and is also in the process of completing a fairly in-depth guide to the proposal. Luca is also in contact with the European Parliament's rapporteur for EU space law, and this will be a good opportunity to be on point about the framework / proposed amendments that will be discussed, and on 19 and 20 November will be attending the UNOOSA Space Law conference in Vienna.

Luca will present for around 30-40 minutes on the proposed regulation and there will be a follow-up opportunity for questions as well as to hear contributions and comparisons from other members about the progress or implementation of similar non-military regulations in their jurisdictions.

As usual, at the end, we would also like to have a short open forum at the end for anyone to bring up topics, make new introductions, or mention issues they would like to discuss, and to suggest topics for future meetings.
