As AI rules multiply, many organisations are looking for something more concrete than principles and policy statements. ISO/IEC 42001 is being used globally as the backbone for real, auditable AI management systems. Management systems that can satisfy the varying and often ambiguous requirements of the recent proliferation of “AI Laws”. The practical question is how ISO/IEC implementation actually works on the ground.
