The aviation industry has suffered a succession of shocks since the onset of the pandemic and is now scrambling to comply with the recent sanctions regime imposed on Russia and its repercussions.  There are planes grounded in Russia and across Europe, questions over part-ownership by Russian individuals and entities, question marks over insurance...  And given the global and interconnected nature of this industry and its significant supply chain, the ripple effects are widespread.
