Peru does not currently offer a golden visa or citizenship by investment programme.

 

Other investment opportunities

Any foreigner who wishes to establish, develop or manage one or more legal investments under Peruvian law in Peruvian country, can apply for a residence visa for investor granted by the Superintendencia Nacional de Migraciones (Migraciones). This residency is granted for one (1) year, renewable.

Among other requirements, applicant must:

  • Not have judicial, police or criminal record from his/her country of origin or from the country where he/she has resided for a minimum period of 5 years prior entry into the country.

  • Prove an investment of no less than PEN S/. 500,000.00 (five hundred thousand Peruvian Soles) in a new or already established company in Peru.

  • The minimum investment in the indicated amount must be made by international transfer in a single disbursement act through a financial or banking entity subject to the supervision of the Peruvian Superintendency of Banking and Insurance.

  • Immediate family members such as spouse, children, parents of the applicant may apply for a resident family member visa, once the applicant obtains his/her resident visa for investor.
