Carolina Zang

Carolina Zang is managing partner at Zang, Bergel & Viñes Abogados since 2012 and is head of the Banking and Capital Markets Practice. She specializes in corporate legal advice with emphasis in financing, capital markets, debt restructuring, M&A, investment funds, private equity and venture capital, project finance and real estate.

Carolina Zang is a lawyer of the University of Buenos Aires (1995) and has a LL.M of the New York University School of Law (1998). She worked in the National legal direction of the Natural resources and Human environment Secretary (1995), and was a Foreign Associate of the Chadbourne & Parke LLP firm in New York during 1998

Nowadays, she plays as Co-Chair of the Latin American Regional Forum (LARF) of the IBA and also was Chair of the Real Estate committee. She is the Co-Representant of the Law Alumni Argentine Chapter of the New York University School of Law and leads the Corporate Law Committee of the Law School of the city of Buenos Aires. Carolina has recently been elected member of the Lawyer´s Council for Civil and Economic Rights by The Vance Center for International Justice which aims to combat corruption in Latin America.

In February of this year, Carolina was summoned to form part of the Board of Directors of the Probono Commission of the Buenos Aires School of Lawyers.

In 2016, Carolina was distinguished by Euromoney Legal Media Group Women in Business Law Awards with the award 2016 of best financial lawyer in LaTam.
