Simeon Hinkov

Simeon Hinkov is an Associated Partner at Stankov, Todorov, Hinkov & Spasov, Attorneys-at-Law and a member of the Sofia Bar Association.

He specializes in contract and corporate law, litigation and insolvency proceedings.

Simeon Hinkov has expertise in the field of mergers and acquisitions, as well as in the procedures of transformation and restructuring of companies.

He is recognized as a recommended lawyer both in the field of Commercial, Corporate and M&A and in Dispute Resolution by the international independent legal directory Legal 500.

In the period 2020-2021, Simeon successfully advised the Bulgarian Football Union on the legal and regulatory matters of the VAR System implementation in Bulgaria.

From 2016 to 2017, hе participated in the joint internship program of the Sofia Regional Court and the Bulgarian-American Commission for Educational Exchange Fulbright where he provided legal assistance to civil and criminal judges by drafting judicial acts and analyzing case law.

Simeon Hinkov holds a Master’s Degree in Law from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.

In 2022, he completed a second LL.M. degree in European Union Law from the joint master’s program of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and Université de Lorraine, France.

Prior to joining the team of Stankov, Todorov, Hinkov & Spasov, Attorneys-at-Law, Simeon was part of Kolcheva, Smilenov, Koev & Partners Law Firm in the period 2013-2016.
