A significant portion of Jim’s practice is dedicated to healthcare transactions and physician representation. He advises physicians, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, and other healthcare providers on practice acquisitions and sales, employment and shareholder agreements, buy-sell agreements, joint ventures, and other strategic business arrangements. Jim also represents healthcare organizations in acquisitions and other complex business transactions, helping clients structure deals that support their long-term business and operational goals.

In addition to his healthcare practice, Jim counsels privately held businesses, family-owned companies, and middle-market businesses on mergers and acquisitions, employment and severance agreements, commercial contracts, financing transactions, corporate governance, succession planning, and general business matters.
