A native Nevadan, Brett concentrates his practice on litigation, with experience handling commercial disputes and estate matters. Brett has represented several multifamily and commercial developers with various complex disputes, including contract claims, construction defects, and partnership conflicts. Known for delivering practical, business-focused solutions, Brett has assisted his clients navigate the complexities of litigation, while remaining focused on delivering the best outcome for his clients. He has represented clients in both state and federal courts, appearing in six judicial districts across Nevada.
Brett earned his J.D. from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in May 2021, graduating with Distinction and as a member of the Traynor Honor Society. Brett was also recognized as a member of the Dean’s Honor List. While at McGeorge, Brett served as a mentor to first-year law students, providing guidance and feedback on briefs, class outlines, and final exam preparation. He also externed for the Honorable Carla Baldwin at the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, gaining valuable experience in federal litigation.
Before pursuing his legal career, Brett graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 2017 with a B.A. in Business and a minor in Economics. During his time there, he distinguished himself as a leader, serving as team captain of the university’s football team.
Beyond academics and athletics, Brett has demonstrated a deep commitment to service. His contributions to Relay for Life, the Special Olympics, and local canned food drives earned him the Paul and Helen Perdue Community Service Award, an honor recognizing his meaningful impact both on campus and in the broader community.
