Briana Martinez

Briana is a Partner with the firm and a native Nevadan. Her legal practice spans a broad range of areas, including business and real estate transactions, privileged licensing, and estate planning. She has extensive experience negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, and preparing governing documents for residential homeowners’ associations, commercial office parks, and retail centers.

She also advises small and mid-sized businesses on a variety of legal issues, with a particular focus on navigating Nevada’s complex regulatory framework for cannabis licensing. Briana regularly assists cannabis companies with multijurisdictional licensing compliance and represents clients before regulatory bodies, including the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board.

Prior to joining Kaempfer Crowell, Briana served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph Hardy Jr. at the Eighth Judicial District Court, where she worked on a wide array of civil and criminal matters, gaining valuable insight into the judicial process.
