Aaron Kriss

Aaron Kriss is the Chair of the Corporate Department and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He leads Gesmer Updegrove’s tax practice, providing strategic counsel on the tax implications of transactions at both the corporate and founder levels. With extensive expertise in mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, financings, and international deals, Aaron ensures tax efficiency aligns seamlessly with clients’ business objectives. He also works extensively with private companies and founders on incentive equity grants and compensation, offering practical, tailored solutions to meet their specific needs.
