Join the Bankruptcy PG Call with guest speaker Matt McKinlay from Ampleo's Turnaround and Restructuring Division on Wednesday 21st April.

Introduction and roll call on who’s attending.

Presentation from Matt McKinlay, partner from Ampleo.

  • Questions and discussion of issues arising from presentation.

Discussion of current insolvency environment in light of current COVID-19 restrictions and situation (depending on who is attending call).

Financial outlook for spring and summer? In US, commercial and consumer bankruptcies down. The environment doesn’t appear as severe for companies as once anticipated by some experts in 2020. We haven’t seen the deluge of filings we saw in the spring 2020. Why is this? What effect does the following have:

  • Most recent stimulus packages passed in December and March and second round of PPP.

  • New US President.

  • Vaccine rollout and problems.

  • New restrictions around the world. Will tourism come back for the summer vacation/holiday season?

  • State restrictions on foreclosures and evictions.
