Please join our Fashion Industry Sector Call on 22 October at either 8am UK BST (3pm Hong Kong) or 4pm UK BST (8am Los Angeles) bringing together lawyers working in (or interested in) the fashion industry for a 1-hour call.
New Co-chairs Chris Cooke (https://santiagomediano.com/en/team/chris-cooke , Madrid) and Keith Markel(https://www.morrisoncohen.com/professionals/kmarkel, New York) thought it would be great to introduce themselves and other members on the call, share insights, compare challenges, and explore opportunities within the fashion industry sector.
Chris Cooke is a partner at Santiago Mediano Abogados based in Spain and his practice focuses on Intellectual Property, brand protection for retail and fashion industry clients, franchising and company/commercial matters. Keith Markel is the Chair of the Labor & Employment Department at Morrison Cohen based in New York and Co-Chair’s the firm’s Luxury Brands practice. Whether your work touches IP, employment, contracts, brand protection, sustainability, or business strategy, this is a chance to connect with your legal peers shaping the future of fashion law.
The group members are encouraged to share any interesting sector updates in their respective jurisdictions which could be of interest to the entire group. We’ve set two call times to allow as many members to take part as possible.
You are also encouraged to suggest topics/projects/initiatives for further meetings, which we hope to have with more consistency and frequency going forward.
