Miss. Kilawe Alice is the head of conveyancing department, dispute resolution, and outsourcing services. Email: Ms. Kilawe graduated from Iringa University (Previously Tumaini University) in 2014. Prior to founding the firm, Ms. Kilawe worked as an intern with Ilala District Court, Brick House Law Associates, Gunda & Malimi Advocates and Mwanza Resident Magistrate Court in Mwanza. Ms. Kilawe joined Astute Attorneys in February 2016 as the intern but she was later promoted to Senior Legal Officer, the capacity which she retained until she was sworn as the Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania. Thereafter Ms. Kilawe joined MCA Ltd and worked as the Companies Advocate and later she was promoted to the position of the Companies Human Resource Manager, the position she holds up-to-date despite managing the firm.
Ms. Kilawe is the founder of the firm, she is a talented corporate lawyer who works diligently to ensure the legality of commercial transactions, advising corporations on their legal rights and duties, including the duties and responsibilities of corporate officers. She is also responsible for drafting legal opinions, researching, court attendance, case follow ups and management of court registries, Minerals registry, Companies’ registry, Land registry and other specialized registries. She has experience of advising entrepreneurs on complex commercial legal issues and financial institutions on corporate and commercial transactions. Ms. Kilawe is competent at carrying out her duties and a reliable figure at the firm. Getting things done in the right manner and in time is her paramount goal.
Currently Ms. Kilawe is undertaking her Masters of Arts in Revenue Law and Administration at The University of Dar es Salaam.
