Seattle, Washington – Seattle, Washington – Cairncross & Hempelmann is very pleased to announce the arrival of litigator John E.D. (Jed) Powell. Mr. Powell brings over 24 years of experience in civil litigation with emphasis on cases involving construction defect, product liability, maritime, personal injury, wrongful death, Admiralty law, insurance coverage and subrogation, commercial/business disputes, intellectual property litigation professional liability and arbitration/mediation. Mr. Powell has prepared hundreds of cases for litigation on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants and has over 100 trials and arbitrations to his credit, including 18 jury trials. His clients have included Martinac Shipbuilders, Commonwealth Insurance Company, Olympic Pipeline Company and various Underwriters at Lloyds of London.
