Sussman Shank LLP selected as one of the 100 Best Green Companies to Work for in Portland, Oregon USA

Portland, OR USA --Oregon Business magazine has named Sussman Shank LLP as one of the “100 Best Green Companies to Work for in Oregon,” based on the first annual green survey taken last fall. The list was determined by an anonymous employee survey and an independent assessment of the employer's sustainability practices. A total of 372 companies participated, and nearly 30,000 employees completed the survey. The 100 Best Green Companies is announced in the June “Green Issue” of Oregon Business Magazine. 

The survey included questions on the organization’s support for waste reduction; reuse and recycling; renewable energy and conservation; alternative modes of transportation; use of nontoxic materials; environmental stewardship; and employee recognition and rewards for meeting or exceeding energy and waste-reduction goals.

Sussman Shank LLP has adopted a formal Sustainability Policy and has appointed a Sustainability Oversight Committee. The committee regularly reviews and drives the firm’s green initiatives and efforts. In addition, the firm has an Environmental and Sustainability and Climate Change practice group.
