Robert W. Tomilson Joins Thorp Reed & Armstrong As Senior Counsel

Philadelphia, PA—October 16, 2008 — Thorp Reed & Armstrong, LLP is pleased to announce that Robert W. Tomilson has joined the firm’s Insurance and Reinsurance Group as Senior Counsel. Based in Philadelphia, Mr. Tomilson will provide increased depth to the firm’s insurance practice.

Mr. Tomilson has represented and counseled carriers and reinsurers in connection with property, casualty, workers compensation, disability, life, health, annuity and variable annuity contracts. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Senior Counsel for CIGNA Reinsurance, where he was lead counsel for the company's run-off operations. Mr. Tomilson received his J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis and was a Fulbright-DAAD fellow.
