Thorp Reed & Armstrong Partner Sunah Park Named to Philadelphia Business Journal's 40 Under 40

Pittsburgh & Philadelphia, PA—May 8, 2008 — Thorp Reed & Armstrong, LLP is pleased to announce that partner Sunah Park has been named to the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2008 40 Under 40. The 40 Under 40 Awards Program profiles the region’s top young professionals, who are up and coming young leaders in their industries.

The honor not only recognizes Ms. Park’s significant contributions in the Philadelphia business community, but also her impact on the community at large.

Ms. Park is a partner in Thorp Reed’s Commercial and Corporate Litigation Practice Group. Her practice areas include commercial litigation and products liability defense, and she has experience representing individuals and companies in litigating business tort claims, commercial contract disputes, construction defect claims and general liability matters.

In addition to her work as an attorney, Ms. Park has also served as the President of the Asian American Bar Association of the Delaware Valley, serves on the Editorial Board of the Legal Intelligencer, and is currently serving her second term on the Pennsylvania House of Delegates. In 2006, she was named a "Best Lawyer Under 40" by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. Additionally, Ms. Park serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Philadelphia Bar Reporter, the monthly publication of the Philadelphia Bar Association.

Ms. Park’s profile will be printed in a special editorial section of the Philadelphia Business Journal on May 9th, and will also be recognized at an evening awards banquet on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Sheraton Society Hill. In addition, one of the 40 winners will be chosen for the Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award. The program is sponsored by Bank of America, Comcast Spectacor, and Temple University’s Fox School of Business.
