Cairncross & Hempelmann, P.S. Announces New Associate

Cairncross & Hempelmann proudly announces that Sandip Soli has joined the Real Estate team at the firm, effective March 24, 2008.

Mr. Soli joins Cairncross & Hempelmann from Carney Badley Spellman, P.S. He practices primarily in the area of commercial real estate transactions, including retail, office and industrial leasing, purchase and sale agreements and real estate financings. In addition to his real estate practice, Mr. Soli provides a general corporate/business background to clients, including the creation of for-profit and non-profit entities, asset and stock purchases, transaction documentation and corporate governance advice.

He also brings a substantial commercial litigation background to his practice. He has represented owners, developers, design professionals, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in a wide variety of construction claims, including breach of contract, changes, errors/omissions, defects and warranty claims.

Further, he has experience in real estate litigation, including earnest money agreements, easements and boundary disputes. Mr. Soli is licensed to practice in Washington before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Washington. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and a member and co-founder of the South Asian Bar Association of Washington. He is also a member of the Developing Leaders Committee of NAIOP.
