Jim Blair Joins Nexsen Pruet's Real Estate Team

Greenville, SC — James A. (Jim) Blair III has joined the Greenville office of Nexsen Pruet, where he will practice in the Real Estate group and serve as Special Counsel. Blair focuses his practice on real estate development, corporate law, real estate litigation, and public utilities. He has represented developers and public and private corporations.
“Jim combines broad legal skills with a deep background in areas that are important to our clients,” said board member David Gossett of Nexsen Pruet’s Greenville office. “Along with his real estate work, he has been extensively involved in developing client business plans and in litigating shareholder and partnership disputes. His experience compliments the existing practice areas in our Greenville office and broadens our platform to better serve our client base in the Upstate and throughout the Southeast.”
Blair earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and his law degree from the Syracuse University School of Law. He also received a Certificate in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary.
He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the American Bar Association, the Greenville County Bar Association, the United States Tax Court, the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys' Association, the International Council of Shopping Centers and the E.L. Wiegand Corporate Practice Group.
