12th - 14th November 2010 Americas Regional Meeting : Lima, PERU

This year’s Americas Regional Meeting will be hosted by Berninzon, Benavides, Vargas & Fernandez, our member firm for Peru.

It will take place in the capital city of Peru, Lima, from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th November 2010.
The city of Lima, also called "The City of the Kings" is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was founded by Francisco Pizarro in 1535 and displays a marvellous colonial architecture.

The meeting will open with a welcome reception and dinner at the roof floor of the Miraflores Park Hotel on the Friday evening.  To book your room please download this Hotel Booking Form in order to receive the agreed preferential rates and fax direct to the hotel.

Guests will be able to have a first taste of Peruvian food which is considered one of the best in the world together with the amazing view of the Pacific Ocean and the Lima coastline from the 11th floor of the hotel.

On Saturday our delegates will be involved in the business meeting for some of the day.
Accompanying persons will enjoy a very attractive tourist program on Saturday and Sunday exploring the city and its surroundings.
The Saturday evening function will take place in the ancient ruins of the Huaca Pucllana. Experience the feeling of dining in the archeological temple built between 200 and 700 AD by the early inhabitants of Lima. A guided tour of the ruins will be available before and after dinner.

The social program will include a city tour, lunch at a colonial hacienda with the wonderful Peruvian Paso Horse Show, visits to museums and ruins and time for shopping.

The Miraflores Park Hotel is an Orient Express hotel and one of the best in Lima. It is located in the very popular touristic area of Miraflores and within walking distance of shops and restaurants, and just steps from LarcoMar Shopping and Entertainment Center, and a beautiful venue for the meeting.

PLEASE NOTE: We recommend strongly you book early to avoid disappointment – rooms are at a premium at this busy time in Lima and we may have to recommend a second hotel if all allocated rooms are taken. If you register and book early you will hopefully avoid disappointment. We also strongly recommend that you contract pick up service from the airport. The Hotel is offering transportation from the airport. If you prefer to use other service, please arrange for pick up in advance.
